Default MKV with DTS having audio lag of 1 second

When using MKV with DTS I'm having hearing a 1 sec lag in the audio. Seems to be more prevalent with the newest Boxee Box update.

Well I have an 8 core Mac Pro with 18GB of RAM and RAID 0 array of 4TB media drives streaming over an 802.11n network at 5GHz frequency. Boxee Box is plugged into my gigabit N router.

I use handbrake 0.9.5 to convert to mkv 1080p video at 10k bit rate with DTS pass thru(if AC3 then AC3 pass thru).

Also backup my stuff to a Drobo with 8TB of storage.

    Any other info? =]

lol... that sounds nice ... but what the BB is pugged in to would help, such as what you play your DTS through - Amp, TV, HDMI, optical, etc... I know some people have had issues with different brands of amplifier. I haven't noticed any significant lag in DTS but my sound had issues anyway as I go through TV to Amp via HDMI then optical, compensate with Amp settings so alls good. But I presume it is only the DTS you get the lag on nothing else.

Try running one of your mkvs through MKVMerge GUI; you're just remuxing the file, not re-encoding. This will often fix sync problems, and I've had some people tell me they've sen problems like this with Handbrake encodes (although I've never seen this happen with my own Handbrake encodes).

Yeah seems mainly due to DTS. right now I have the boxee box plugged into HDMI to the tv and running from the optical audio to my logitech z-5500 surround sound system.
