Thread: Identify-no results found!?!

    Default Identify-no results found!?!

After updating to the latest firmware (Netflix, trueHD, etc.), I cannot get the Boxee Box to identify a single one of my movies, including ones that previously have been identified. Anyone else have this problem, or any ideas?

same problem here. just updated and now my boxee box can't find anything on my nas.

i removed all sources and added them again. when it searches the directories, it finds 0 results.

weird - on the Settings/File Sources page, my directories say last scanned on 08/07/74...not sure where that date is coming from...

I figured it out, and it is a weird quirk. The ONLY thing that I changed after the update was update the setting so that it alphabetized minus the prefix ('the', for example). When I changed it back to sorting with the prefix, it worked fine. Weird. Where do you submit known bugs? This is a doozy.

http://jira.boxee.tv for submitting bugs -- debug logs might help too: http://support.boxee.tv/entries/3292...w-do-i-do-that (but download the debug log and then attach to the issue you submit).

Did you try clearing the database after you made the changes? and then let them rebuild?, that would have fixed the issue. You made changes to the way the database is read but didn't clear & rebuild....
