Missing covers on Boxee Box

I have a couple movies that are with cover in IMDB, however, the cover doesn’t show on “My Movies” on Boxee. Yesterday I saw one of these movies without a cover. I started out by seeing the trailer of the movie The Resident (2010) (Watch Later  the movie  trailer), and afterwards I saw the movie. When it was finished, the cover appeared for a few second in “My Movies” and it then disappeared again.

Could anyone tell me the reason for this? And also explain to me, why IMDB has covers that do not show in Boxee.

I can't explain the appearing/disappearing covers, no idea and I've not experienced it my self.... Hmmm.

Boxee licenses a copy of the IMDB database. As such, it needs updated from time to time. I've not been told how often that is. But, the Announcement thread at the very top of every thread on the forums has a link to ask Boxee to manually update their servers with movie and TV info and covers. Follow the link to the google doc and upload any that are missing.

But before you do that, try to firsty manually resolve any local content and see if you can pick up the cover that way. Sometimes it's a naming conflict.
