Default No Thumb Picture for tv series

    Hi,

One of my TV Series on my computer is "The X Files", and boxee recognize it and downloaded the chapters names etc, but it didn't download the thumb picture for the series itself (the picture that shows on the tv series menu).

When I had problems before with pictures that wont match or looks bad I just search them in the Thumb directory in my filesystem (I use Ubuntu 8.10) and replace them myself, but this time because it didn't have any picture at all I don't know how to set one.

    please help me.

    thanks a lot.

you could try erasing you library:
    boxee > settings > general > library > erase
personal: boxee | twitter | boxee hq
boxee: boxee chat | boxee wiki | boxee plugins

i run boxee 0.9.20 on: ubuntu 9.10, windows xp sp3 (virtual machine), windows 7 and a neuros link hacked to all hell.

what super powers does a 'super mod' have? the 'super ban'... that, and laser vision.

thanks for reply but I cant find this option.
in boxee I enter to settings but I don't have the general option. I have 8 options:
    1. media sources and application
    2. applications settings
    3. appearance
    4. network
    5. system
    6. videos
    7. music
    8. pictures

    thanks for patience.

you also didn't list 'credits' which is next to 'general'...

i hope this question doesn't come off as snarky, but i have to ask:
did you scroll all the way down?

they are both at the bottom.

check the naming format of x files have you tried renaming it to "the x-files.s01e01.avi" you can also try and create debug logs and this should point you to the path in the thumbnails of xfiles ..
