    Default Boxee on Opensuse 11.3

    Hi all,

I would love to have Boxee on Opensuse. I have seen that there is a fedora rpm
although there has been no mention of a version for Opensuse.

    There is a link http://forums.boxee.tv/showthread.ph...light=opensuse

The user states that he has installed the prerequisites, though I'm not sure what that is.

I have read the readme file of the source code, which states that I need the following..

I have attempted to run my install/remove software manager and have typed in all of the below one by one, although I am not able to install them.
    Can someone please help me.

When running the ./configure file, it comes up with the following error

checking for main in -lGL... no

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Default

Looks like you need to install the OpenGL development libraries/headers.

    Default still no success.

    Hi there,

I installed various packages which said OpenGL on them within the install/remove software button.

This did not resolve my issue.

Do you know specifically the name of the software which I need on Opensuse 11.3 which is OpenGL related.

I am running a 64 bit machine. I have no idea which specific files that I need to download. If I knew I would download them straight away.
I am also using the propriety NVIDEA drivers for my video card and the nvidea configuration program states that I have Opengl extensions.

Within the Readme there are various applications. Unfortunately this does not seem to correspond to Opensuse which is RPM based and not Debian based.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.
