Default Black screen for all TV shows - no video, only audio

I've used Boxee for quite a while, but I'm only seeing this problem within the last several days.

I can't get any tv show to stream correctly. I get audio but no video. The stream tries to start, I get a little bit of the rotating circle animation but then it stops and the screen stays black. I thought maybe it was just Comedy Central, because all I really care about would be to see The Daily Show and Colbert, but then I tried other shows at random, about a dozen, same result.

I tried deleting the app, and also the user/Library/Application Support/BOXEE folder, then reinstalling, but no luck. Maybe anyone has other suggestions about what to try? Or is Boxee broken for streaming shows now..? I also rebooted.

    Thanks

Default Bump: Confirmed in Ubuntu 10.10 32-bit

Same problems here, first the flash video would not go full screen; pixel ratio 1:1. Then after trying to fix by reinstalling boxee, my O.S. and Nvidia driver..... No video at all, but audio works fine. Just started acting dumb today.

Pretty sure you can't use Flash 10.2 with Boxee 0.9.xx

Yeah, it's probably a Flash issue. Try completely removing Flash and then installing the latest version. Couldn't hurt to verify that Firefox is properly installed and up-to-date, as well.

I updated my Flash to 10.2 last week and Boxee still works fine. I just tried watching an episode of the Daily Show in Boxee from Comedy Central and it also worked fine. So it's gotta be something on your end.

Its sounds like the same problem I'm having on Boxee on Windows 7 x64.
Playing mp4's will have no video but audio will play. Reinstalling flash or Boxee will not fix it.

Disabling "Enable hardware assisted decoding when possible" will fix it in Settings>Media>advanced.

Try and see if this works.

    Something has changed..........

This is what I did to get the tv shows working again.
    1. Uninstall flash 10.2 using this app http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get...player_osx.dmg (this is for the mac)

    2. I installed flash 10.1 from the adobe flash archives. here http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html these are large zips because they contain versions for all platforms

    3. Install Flash 10.1

    4. Check boxee and see if the streams work (they did for me)

    5. I then installed flash 10.2 and checked the streams again and they worked

Seems to be working for now Hope that helps
