MP4 Files Don't Play? Reboot

I have a library of MP4s that I ripped from DVDs using Handbrake. I finally figured out how to add the library folder to Boxee (tip: when something doesn't work, use the remote -- a mouse click doesn't always replace remote clicks), added file info to some movies, tried to play, but...nothing. Screen went blank for 1 second, then returned to Browse Movies screen. If I looked under "Now Playing", the film was playing and the total time was listed but screen was blank without navigation controls.

Solution: Reboot.
