Harmony Remote support

I'd like to see some support for harmony remotes... or perhaps a way to customize how a remote works?

Ideally for me would be the ability to use the numbers on the remote as a T9 input. a way to quickly jump through long lists... like hulu or my movies.

Hitting '2' twice would take me to the start of B's etc...

Perhaps using Channel up / down to page up / down long lists.

I'm using my harmony remote now, i programmed it from a windows mce remote. Do you know anyone with a MCE remote you could clone the button codes from ?

I dont think i know anyon e with one unfortunately... Does it provide any benefits / features that aren't included by just programming my harmony to use the apple remote?

Whats the deal with the horrible response time with the remote? Is this something being worked on or is it not a high priority.

how long is it taking to respond to commands?
is the delay consistent on every screen?
if not, which ones are affected?
does it only happen when playing back media, or only when browsing the ui? or both?

Its nothing new... it happens with the apple remote as well. It seems to be about a good second delay between button push and cursor movement. Fire up front row and then jump to boxee and you'll see what i mean. It doesn't make boxee unusable by anymeans... but close .

Can you do anything about the responstime? Its very annoying!
