Youtube Leanback - No video, blank screen

Hi, I tried loading some videos today using the youtube leanback app and videos just wouldn't show. There was audio but no vid. I tried it in the browser and the same thing happened... everything but the vid worked ie. audio was there, youtube webpage was there just the video itself was missing.

I checked out Wired's app and that streamed video without a prob. I don't get any error messages or anything and I'm running the most recent firmware available through the BB itself - not the RCs that are manually loaded.

In addition to all this, I've never been able to sign into Youtube.

Any ideas? I've tried the search for the blank screen thing and I just about had that issue when I powered off and on my BB. I turned it off and back on again and it was fine.

Currently running @ 1080p and have been since day 1.

I understand about the jira ticket created but why would a ticket be needed for an application that use to work fine! What is going on over the boxee development team that can not even maintain perfectly working apps working perfectly! Do this people know what they are doing? What's wrong with them? It feels something that they are really trying their best for the company along their boxee software to fail completly on the market and for everyone to do a masive return of boxee box!! Get this sh!t working correctly already!!!

More than likely, youtube changed something on their end so maybe you'd like to redirect your comments in their direction.

yes just noticed it also..so its not from the update and it does not work for people who did not update correct?

I updated yesterday and it was working fine last night. Not sure about those that haven't updated.

Thanks Darcilicious for your reply you are an ok guy. I mis say is not a YouTube issue due to the fact tha all my videos work perfectly fine when I use third party repos on my boxee box it restricly only to boxees leanback version of YouTube that's not working and you must agree that that is getting rediculus for a development team to be doing so little progress on all their current issues but as if not enough messing up apps that at least were working fine and now they are not! Are this people for real! I for one wrote to the developer of leanback a month ago on a jira ticket I created and he was a total a$$hole on his reply basically saying calling all of us boxee members as "yous boxee people should now better" what an a$$ with people like this I be noticing the kind of employees boxee Corp employs and therby the kind of company boxee is, perhaps this is why major players from boxee are leaving the company to start Their own company perhaps with the vision of what boxee was intended to be and not what all of us is getting. I like boxee box but it is so hard to write on all the goo things I has when things like this happen and when the negatives outweight by far the possitives hope you agree in a way

It's not just the leanback app. If i go to youtube through the browser, the videos direct from the site don't load either.

I posted this picture in another thread of what i see when i try to view a video in my 'Watch Later' list and go to the browser
