Resume from Sleep

Hi,

I have an irritating problem with boxee for OSX. Every time i resume from the suspended/sleep function, it shows the top bar of the OSX system, like it's not in fullscreen. It also shows the Dock in the bottom, but i just made it slip away automatically... but this other bar, i can't make it go away. When i want to only use the Apple remote with the system, its REALLY a pain in the ass.

Is there a way for a program to start up in fullscreen after sleep?

Im running a brand new Mac Mini.
