NFS on Boxee Box

NFS should be a core part of a mediaplayer, the big mediaplayers on the current market all support NFS. NMT(Popcorn), Dune, Tvix - DvicO, AC Ryan they all support it.

I don`t understand why they left it out in the first place as it should cost them little time to add it.

I`m looking around for a new mediaplayer. I am used to the Dvico M-6500A and my Popcorn C-200. (which both have nfs support)

Now NFS support is a pre to have onboard the mediaplayer. So I wonder is the BOXEE already able to access NFS shares on a QNAP NAS without any problems?

But I can`t cast a vote and I`m not sure if there is being done anything about NFS share support or if it is already there...

I mean SMB and UPNP are really slow compared to the speed and stability you get with NFS connections.

I have voted it up, I sure hope it can be added.
