Subtitle Search/Seek
The ability to find a part of a video by doing a text search within subtitles would be very useful. Currently, I can do this by doing a grep on an srt file, and then seeking to the timestamp, however this process is pretty cumbersome, and it would be great to have the feature implemented into Boxee, especially since seeking in Boxee is pretty tedious, though this is usually offset by the quite reliable resume feature.
This feature is pretty killer, but somehow doesn't exist in any media player to my knowledge. Cost of implementation would mostly be UI work, since subtitles are already available within Boxee, and text searches are not very difficult

Great idea. When using Boxee for the first time yesterday, I had this exact same thought because I wanted to zip straight to a section with a phrase that I remembered. It would be very handy if you wanted to show off a funny or cool part of a movie.
You could even extend this feature later by adding a "Save Bookmark" option which in combination with the text search lets you quickly build up a playlist of bookmarks that plays a series of snippets from different videos - this would be very cool for hosting theme parties or even as a type of screensaver.
