They are supposed to be shoutcast. Have you tried the shoutcast app?
My Reality Check Bounced!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I run Boxee on Ubuntu 10.04 PC (2 machines)
I run BoxeeBox and I love it.
Not yet... I'll check tonight how to add it!![]()
AFAIK, the shoutcast app is not available on the new boxee version.
Maybe this may help:
http://thenewtvrepublic.com/2010/12/...get-them-back/
http://www.radioparadise.com/musiclinks/rp_128.m3u works here in the Boxee Browser. To make it easier, create a .url file on your PC in a shared folder you can access from the Box, with that link in the URL box in the .url file properties. Then just click on that link in the Box. It's working fine here.
What about Navi-x? they have quite a big shoutcast/radio secion
Or you can use this -
http://scfire-dtc-aa04.stream.aol.com:80/stream/1048
which is 128 mp3, or
http://www.radioparadise.com/musiclinks/rp_128aac.m3u
which is 128 aac for best fidelity - also works fine in Boxee Box.
"Radio Paradise HD" doesn't work on the Box, though it would be interesting to see whether the upcoming browser upgrade makes a difference. The link to that is http://www.radioparadise.com/rphd.php - apparently they have special apps for the Roku and Google boxes, so maybe someone could do one for the BB?
Nice station.

Radio Paradise is in Paradise, CA just up Skyline drive from Chico. I have listened to it for a couple years, great station.
This is great, I love RP. Would be nice if you didn't have to launch the Boxee Browser to get to it though.
Actually the app descriptor.xml you posted some time back is a great alternative.
