So first Apple's free Remote app. Only good for iTunes content in front row.
Glitchy at "finding iTunes library" on ATV. Disappointing

Next the Boxee remote app. Works great. Good for entering URL's. Very stable. Only downside is you still need the white stick to launch Boxee the first time.
Now approved for iTunes store and free.

Works OK both in FrontRow mode and inside Boxee. Will even play video passably (a little jumpy but watchable) playing on Boxee on ATV on my ipod touch wirelessly. Which is amazing. Watch movies from Boxee collection anywhere in WiFi range. $3.99 on Christmas sale for app. Requires installation of a "helper" app on ATV but is simple install using ssh and instructions on the website.
