Audio Issues (HDMI)

Eep, I need help.

I am running Boxee through my HTPC with an ATI Radeon HD 4350 going to a Pioneer receiver.

Boxee starts up fine makes its startup sound, however when I go to play a movie or show the audio goes away. It shows up on my receiver that no audio input is detected.

I have the settings to use digital audio and if I minimize boxee, click on the windows volume icon it will start the audio back up.

I do not have this problem in XBMC or WMC, and have had it working in the past.

I love Boxee and would like it to work

Any help would be much appreciated


Windows 7
ATI Radeon 5450
Boxee Beta (newest release)
Audio set to digital
All other options are default.

Wait, so is it a 4350 or a 5450? Are you sure you posted the specs for the right machine?

Are you sure that you've got the ATi HDMI audio device out selected as the default audio device in both Windows and in Boxee?

Have you installed or tried reinstalling the latest Catalyst drivers from AMD?

Have you installed any Realtek drivers for the audio on that card? If not, try installing them. If so, try removing them and re-selecting the ATi HDMI audio device as default again.

Also, you can try disabling any other on-board sound adapters, at least temporarily.
