Handbrake
I'm currently using Boxee on may MacBook until I pick up a Mac Mini. I am using Handbrake to back-up my dvds but I can't get some things to be recognized when ripped at the highest quality at h.264. Heck when I ripped Hellboy 2, NOTHING would play it. Any suggestions?

and the new (and awesome):

i run boxee 0.9.20 on: ubuntu 9.10, windows xp sp3 (virtual machine), windows 7 and a neuros link hacked to all hell.
what super powers does a 'super mod' have? the 'super ban'... that, and laser vision.

I always use the AppleTV setting and they all playback without a problem.

I've been doing encodes all weekend with the new Apple TV preset. I'm still debating if I should use Universal.
One of my biggest issues so far with Handbrake is trying to get the correct subtitle track.

Aggree. Handbrakes universal setting is what I have been using and works great across different media devices/apps.

i just use the film setting with AC3 pass through. Works great.
