I think aaron was referring to the Boxee Box in which case there has been no update that I have seen and its still being worked on. There have been no details so far about pending dates. It may be best to contact Avner directly regarding this as he may be able to give you a better answer

I am sure that I,and most of the people who bought the Boxee Box are
mostly interested in the Online content.
As it is right now you can not sign in in most of the websites or play the
    majority of online videos.
I play my local content trough my other media players.
I bought the Boxee Box because it was advertised as to be able to play, stream
any video available anywhere on the Internet.
you would be wrong. most of the online stuff is garbage as has been noted numerous times in the forum threads. the local stuff is the key as even avner has acknowledged.

Thanks Ph8 - yes I realize that - that's why I specifically mentioned the Boxee beta app - up until recently the Vudu app would not run for me in the Boxee software

have you tried clearing your thumbnail and/or media info then rescanning?

Vudu will be on Boxee Box, that I have no doubt about. But I doubt very very much that Avner (or @boxee) quoted an actual date for Vudu on the Box. That's sort of announcement would also be on the Blog.

If you could point to the actual tweet, that would be helpful.

Yes like the new changes, the live feed from twit.tv app is still out of sync from just.tv, or if i try the browser which full screen correctly anymore, but also is out of sync from all option source on the twit.tv live feed. hopefully it can get fixed soon, who can I talk to about the issue since not sure if its the app maker or what

Nice.. It worked. thx. What will be the easiest way to add a folder.jpg for just one movie? Remove that movie, add folder.jpg and rescan?

It would seem that there is a fair bit more optimizing to do on this box,

Think there might be some memory leaks happening here and there, I have had the box on for about 5 hours and the front light has stopped dimming when a movie comes on. I have gone to shutdown the boxee so I can restart it and it has crashed.

Also I have noticed on most of my MKV files there are occasional audio stutters and slowdown that happens for a second or so. I am connected to a D-link DNS 320.

Also at the moment for me I cannot add new movies or music from my SMB shares, it looks and says they are updated and nothing new is added. Looks like it gonna be a while before this is smooth but thats what you get when you adopt early I suppose. Love the box however so I await fixes with patience.

It would seem that if I wait for the boxee rather than try and re-scan files myself new entries appear in the movies section. So it looks like I should just play them through the file browser before that as a temp solution.

I've noticed with the last update, that loading a TV page that has a large number of episodes (50+) can take a fairly long while, i'm talking 10-15 seconds of spinning wheel before it loads. I don't remember it taking that long on the previous firmware.
My Movies page with 300 movies in comes up in a couple of seconds.

    Anybody else experiencing the same?
