Boxee O.S
Hi there,
this question has probably asked allot already, but "search" did not help;
Is it possible to use Boxee as a O.S. ?
Is BoxeeBox software that is offered as free download on the site, already a Linux Distro on it' s own, that can be installed on every PC?
If not, is it then possible at all to find a Boxee-based-linux distro that would boot up right into the interface of boxee?
thank you
Oli

Oli, I installed Boxee on Ubuntu Linux. Once that was installed, I installed Boxee. Ubuntu has a pulldown at the top called "System." Under that, there is "preferences," and under that, "startup applications."
I made Boxee my startup application. Whenever this computer is turned on, it boots Boxee automatically. I never see anything else, unless, of course, I want to.
I would guess that the same kind of thing exists for windows and the mac, but then, I don't do windows, and can't afford a mac.
