Boxee hangs

Only had the box for a day or so.. Last night, using it most of the evening.. 2 hangs / crashes.. Both times on a remote action. Both times I had to do a power off at the box (unresponsive from remote) and once it rebooted was then ok.

Is this common ?? 2 in my first nights use is kinda off putting ??

Only lock up I have had to far is when it tries to load an offline local device.

Why offlince devices are even lised in the first place is beyond me at this point.

I cant repeat it precisely no..

First time I pressed the menu button while watching an XVID (Sons of Anarchy.. Low Def.. Nothing special) and the prompt came up with the question of if I wanted to leave the video playing (can check precisely what that prompt is but I am sure you understand me) I pressed yes and it froze with the paused video on the screen.. Waited 20 secs, totally unresponsive to remote.. Went and power cycled.

Second time was a true blood low def episode.. Was using the remote to skip to find a part.. As I pressed skip FWD from play it just paused and stopped. Same deal.. Waited and no response needed a power cycle.

Hope its not a bad box, as the costs of getting this item into Thailand where I am are about double the cost of a box to US buyers and no warranty or return option.

Please check if you have any archived files that contain media in them. For example rars with movies etc. There is a bug in the current firmware that causes freezes, next release will fix this.

No none.. My current media archive is purely a media catalogue all in their own formats and file structures.

Used it last night for a few hours without incident.
