fix for boxee stuck at login after update to 2.3 and boxee upgrade

I tried this command to fix the freezing on the login screen (just installing for the first time on ATV 2.3) and i keep getting the following error "no such file or directory" I have checked many times that the command is the same as the revised one on in the first reply. Any thoughts?

Ok, i was able to figure it out, howerver i am still not able to get past the freezing at the login screen. Here is what i have done, since i tried the new loader on top of an prior boxee load i rebooted, shh'd in and ran
"rm -rf /Users/frontrow/Library/Application\ Support/BOXEE/UserData" as the post referenced in the OP menitioned about remotes. I then rebooted again and ran "rm /Users/frontrow/Library/Application\ Support/BOXEE/UserData/guisettings.xml" after doing so i attempted to enter boxee, again the login sreen appears and then i get a brief flash where an error appears for a fraction of a second and the login screen is frozen.

Any thoughts?

The new 2.2 loader should fix this problem (did for me). What version are you using?

Boxee won't let me log in. I've SSH'd into it and ran the codes above but nothing happens. I copy/paste the command directly from the OP's post and nothing happens. I ran the shutdown code and re-ssh'd into the atv, put in the password, pasted the OP's command and nothing happens. Should I see something? How would I know if it works? Please advise. I'm stuck...

BTW:
- the ATV is fully updated as of this weekend
- Boxee and launcher were installed this weekend as well so they are most recent versions

I just wanted to say thanks for this easy fix- finally it's stable and working without a crash for 2 weeks.

I feel pretty stupid to ask this question but I am so confuse on how to do this. Okay I updated my Apple TV to 2.3 and then using the ATV-USBcreator I installed Boxee on my apple TV. I can not get into the main log in page. I am just confuse about how do copy and paste the code? I ssh into my apple TV using my mac book (using Captain FTP software). What next?
(I am sure to all yall this sound stupid but I am very new with these stuff sorry ) if u could help me I really appreciate it.

@salar101 did you update to the latest launcher 2.2 (launcher>downloads)..if so remove the UserData file ..and start boxee again..
