There is just a problem with it.

He suggests using delicious as a bookmark repository, which could be cool - but when I add the rss feed on http://www.boxee.tv/feeds it doesn't show up on the website.
I can search for it and it says i'm subscribed, but it doesn't list it.
And worse, it doesn't list it in the RSS app on the box, so it doesn't work?

Is this a bug - I see the blog suggests using the PC version of the program to add the feed, which seems unnecessarily messy to me.

It is the same for me, different feed though (google reader). The new feed does appear on the boxee mac app even though I can not see it on the web site. I have not tried the BB yet. BTW boxee apparently does not do google reader atom feeds.

On a related note, I would like to do this but am a little leery of the spam I might get signing up with yahoo and http://www.delicious.com/. Anyone have any problems with this?

The feed shows up for me on the Box (but not on the website). However, Boxee on the Box seems quite slow to refresh its cache. You could try rebooting the Box or alternatively I often find that logging out and back in by using the "Switch User" option on the menu's "power button" works just as well.

Another tip with the Delicious bookmarks, which I've also posted over at the blog article is a way to get an RSS feed to use if you have private bookmarks in Delicious that you want to see in Boxee:

    1) Go to http://www.delicious.com/username/boxeemark (logging into Delicious if you are not already logged in)
    2) Click on the "Private RSS feed" link at the bottom of the list of bookmarks and copy the URL of the feed.
    3) Add that feed to Boxee

Note: The private feed URL has a "count" parameter which defaults to 15, which you may want to remove or increase depending on how many bookmarks you have or intend to add.
