I'm thinking that Boxee needs to run changes through D-Link first and that the buck doesn't stop with Avner. In any case, I urge everyone to continue the scorn and derision that we have shown thus far with the actual Box and the management decisions surrounding it. It's that feedback that gets Boxee motivated to make changes to our liking.
The level of immaturity in these forums (on the part of some, I hasten to add) is nothing short of staggering. How self-involved must one be to consider every little unfulfilled wish list item a personal affront and a fatal flaw in the Boxee Box? Do you (and your ilk) truly believe that your every desire is shared by the vast majority of the consumer market who until now may not even have been aware that they could enjoy local and Internet content on their TV and would be blown away by a short demo of even the most basic Boxee Box features? ... or are you just crying and stamping your feet like a petulant child? You want scorn and derision? Well, you've got mine! [As far as the "5 hour coding job", I doubt you could get Hello World out in that timeframe, assuming there's any correlation between coding ability and maturity].
