Talking Hopefully it won't stutter anymore now.

How efficient is hardware acceleration in Flash Player 10.2 beta? Using Stage Video, we’ve seen laptops play smooth 1080p HD video with just over 0% CPU usage.
    Interesting....

    Default flash 10.2

I am not as up to speed on flash as other technologies. I understand that flash does not use hardware accelleratio with XP. Does anybody know if that would be the same with 10.2? I am planning on testing this later this eve.

I would guess that it won't run as well on XP. But it may help a little bit.

I noticed there is only a 32-bit version. Anyone know what I should do if I want to try this out on a 64-bit windows 7 platform?

You don't need the 64-bit version unless you're using a 64-bit browser as well.

Correct. Adobe says this about native 64 bit browser support.

The Flash Player 10.2 beta does not replace the Flash Player "Square" preview release. To test native 64-bit browser support, please visit the Flash Player "Square" preview page for more information.
