New App Release: NHL Game Highlights [hockey]

I made a little RSS app with HD videos of NHL highlights - in case there's any hockey fans around...

I added it to http://dir.fuzzthed.com/ 's great repo.

Thinking about learning some python and making it a little better. We'll see if there's any interest.

I want to thank you very much for this. It is an awesome APP and I use it daily to check out all the NHL highlights. I love the fact that it's just not goals, but best shots, hits, fights, saves.
The video quality is top notch as well.

Thanks for the feedback - I have been looking into getting AHL highlights, but they use silverlight on their site, and I'm a Linux user, so.....

Also, it doesn't appear the KHL has any online video content?

Ahhhh!! I've updated to the new firmware and I get an "error downloading application"

Any chance you'll be able to get this app signed??

I use this app on a nightly basis to catch up on games I've missed.

Totally appreciate the work you put into this and hope it gets updated to the new firmware.

I have been using this app too, and am sorry to see it broken, but NHL GameCenter also makes these highlight videos available for free, no account required... so, you can get your fix there if this app doesn't get fixed/updated.

Ugh, well this is really disappointing. I hadn't heard anything about this whole app signing business.

Sorry to have to report this, but the boxee developer site is still not working correctly, and thus I can't sign this app yet for you guys.

While I am here, I am curious if you have any ideas for improvement. Right now this is just a feed of highlight videos. Any interest in box scores, different UI etc.? I know GameCenter has essentially the same material, but IMO their UI is a bit klunky.

would be cool to have live boxscores if possible. Maybe even team pages of some sort.

nah....i like this minimalistic app better...if i wanted other information, i would use the nhl gamecenter but i prefer this one cheers...
