    Default Resuming Fancast Stream

    Hi All,

    I'm using Boxee on Windows7.

the problem i have when watching TV streams is that if i turn the boxee off or the laptop off, when i turn it back on to watch the same fancast stream i was watching before, the sceen says resume or restart. i cant click either one and it just stays stuck on that gray screen while the boxee counter continues counting.

i searched the forums but didnt find anything on this particular issue.

    thanks in advance.

I've seen this too. It also affects the full-screen button

Same issue here. I am unable to press the resume or restart button when using sources from Fancast. It wants to give us the option but Boxee does not allow us to click on the buttons.

Try an uninstall/reinstall of Boxee - and you might want to delete your userdata folder to - no guarentees, but this has resolved a few issues with Boxee when nothing else is available to try

I am not sure what uninstalling boxee has to do with no click support. It not just Fancast that does this. YOu can use the boxee browser and turn off the video support and you still cant click on urls in a wesite that you visit.

here's how i resolved the issue:

    http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/...-forever-linux

    with slight changes,

instead of linking the entire .macromedia directory to /dev/null, im choosing to only send the fancast flash cookies to hell:

    rm -rf .macromedia/Flash_Player/#SharedObjects/5GT2694B/www.fancast.com/

    ln -s /dev/null .macromedia/Flash_Player/#SharedObjects/5GT2694B/www.fancast.com

this of course does not solve the issue of resuming the shows but at least this will prevent the episode from locking up.

windows users, maybe this will help:

Brilliant. Worked for me (the 8-character code in the path was different, but ...) Thanks for the tip.
