Boxee not indexing my music

Hi there,

I have uploaded a few albums to the ATV (with full idv2 tags) and added the relevant source to Boxee. When I browse the source, I can see the files and playback, however Boxee does not index the albums.

My music albums are not mainstream international and african of nature, thus boxee won't be able to pick up information for them from the Internet. All the tags are populated and a folder.jpg resides in all the album folders for coverart.

Will boxee be able to index these albums? If not, is there plan for it going forward?

you can try to manually resolve them ...can you send me couple of examples of the albums..

Is there any specific folder structure artist -> album -> tracks that boxee requires?

How do I recognize them manually?

boxee reads the ID3 tags i know that agentlame adds his music this way and it works:

[artist]/[album]/[album artist] - [track number] - [song title].[extension]
ie: ~/Music/IAMX/The Alternative/IAMX - 01 - President.mp3

Yes, mine has the same structure as I use itunes to rip my music to mp3. How do I manually resolve the indexing then?

have you tried comparing your music names/tags to http://last.fm?
this is where boxee gets it's metadata for music.

also, could you provide some examples of albums that aren't working?

Yes, since it is local music, native to south africa, is does not really feature on last.fm. although iTunes when ripping my cd's picks up all the album information 99% of the time. I would appreciate it if anyone could assist in getting boxee to list the music in the library. I have included two examples of these albums.
