Default new firmware - WPA wireless won't connect now

Was working perfectly until today's firmware, ran the update, BB rebooted and then said not connected to Internet?

Went into System > Network and tried to connect using the wizard but it fails

    What now

i would email someone direct @boxee.tv

marcel, avner or someone else... sounds like a potentially serious issue!

What wireless set up are you using? WPA? WPA2? Can you try to connect by ethernet and see if it works?

WPA-PSK, can't connect via wired, if I could I wouldn't be using wireless

Rebooted several times but still won't connect

FYI, I can scan and find my network, type in my password, then it fails

Also, the keyboard on the remote is now broken too, alt + number keys are inputting the character from the line below when caps lock is on

I guess we are both in the same boat here. I rushed to get the update and met the same exact fate as you. I then followed the same exact steps and got the same results.

I have seen this type of behavior frequently with my Samsung Blu-Ray. The only way I ever resolved it was to change my router password which leads to a router reset. I am going to try that next.

I've just done a factory restore and it connects fine, at least I can stick with v0.9 now

Same problem here with a WPA2-PSK network. Previous release worked properly.

    Ethernet works.

You'll need to do a factory restore unless Boxee rush out a fix

Turn off box and leave 20 secs
Hold power for 6 secs then release
    Follow onscreen instructions

Well I could stick with 0.9 if it could access my file shares

Looks like I have a £200 BBC iPlayer now
