Default Add to the Settings/Videos - Change Default Settings

It would be very practical to have the options to set/change the default settings of the video and TV shows signals (Specially the 'View Mode) by adding these settings to the panel - 'Settings/Video/Display and Video playback settings/Change default settings

    The settings are:

    Intelace Handing
    Video Scalling mode,
    Crop Black Bars,
    View mode,
    Zoom Amount,
    Pixel Ratio,
    Brightness
    Contrast

From Apple TV, i have to change the default settings of all the videos that I watch since the settings are only available when the video is streaming. The setting that I always need to change is the View Mode (16:9 stretch)

Thank you for the existence of such a great piece of software!

I wanted to add to this old thread to mention that I think zoom settings should be able to be saved differently for different video sources (local files, hulu, cbs, etc...) because some web players have different amounts of space around them and need to be zoomed different amounts to get the video to fill the screen.

Default Add to the Settings/Videos - Change Default Settings

I beleive that it's not possible to change the settings of Plug-ins with Boxee. You can change the settings but the changes are not reflected permenently as the new default.

    Default

When I set the zoom to something like 1.3 for hulu to make the video fill the screen and then choose make default at the bottom, it remembered the setting the next time I ran boxee. The problem is that it zooms everything else that much too and gets too big.
