My attempt on an iPad Boxee remote

Hi everyone,

I was working on a remote for the iPad quite a while ago but unfortunately never got it finished. Anyway, I've recently had some time to continue my work and I think now its about ready to get tested.
I've put together a little video showing off some features and the UI concept, you might wanna check it out at http://beta.010dev.com

I think it closely resembles what has been discussed over here Boxee iPad Application - what do you want to see? However, I have much greater things in mind for future versions, so stay tuned

I'm eagerly looking for beta testers especially owners of the new BoxeeBox, so feel free to signup for the beta if you want to take it for a spin.
Any feedback would be great.

I don't have an iPad yet (I'm waiting for 2nd gen), but this is seriously great work!

Looks pretty cool. I'm using a boxee remote for my ipad I got for free from the app store and works but it doesn't compare to your video

I'm glad you guys seem to like my little remote, could still use some beta testers though

I have, but can't tell when I'll have the time to do it.

Looks interesting- I will submit my application when I get home and I can access my UDID.

I have a 3G ipad and would be glad to help test it. I'm a programmer by trade btw so I should be pretty good for feedback, but I haven't done any programming for the ios...yet!

Actually I'm real anxious to try creating an app for the boxee box

That's great to hear! Beta phase will start by the end of the week, btw.

Perfect, just signup on my website, the app will be available for download there.
And go for it, iOS is a awesome platform an objc is a great language, in fact, I've never enjoyed programming this much on other platforms before.
