    Default Episode just won't play

Not sure if this has been discussed before, at least I couldn't find anything on it: I just tried playing an episode of "Pushing Daisies" and got sent back to the episode list...!

I mean, I browsed through the list of episodes, then chose one, then clicked on 'Play' and instead of starting to play Boxee took me right back to the list...!?

Then I tried clicking on 'Read more' and clicked the 'Play' button there in the upper left corner -- and the same thing happened...!

Any ideas what the problem could be and what I can do to fix it...?

More information is needed. Local file or from a plugin? Hulu? A third party plugin?

Hulu's videos do expire over time for certain shows. Can you play this video off the hulu site?

Another plugin? Most of the third party xbmc plugins that grab "no so legal" tv shows off the net are hit an miss. These are not officially supported and more often then not you'll see videos don't play correctly, don't play at all or are of poor quality. This is out of the dev's hands.

Oh okay, sorry about the lack of information...! No, it's not on Hulu...since I'm in Germany I can't access Hulu anyway...

It is one of the local files stored on the internal HDD of my TV and it's just a regular AVI file, like all the other files on there -- which all seem to be playing fine so far...! Right now this has only happened with this one file...

But actually it seems that this individual file is corrupted: I have just copied the file back to my Mac and tried playing it on here and neither QT Player nor VLC could handle it...!

So I apologize for the fuss, I actually thought it was a problem with Boxee because that's never happened before...! Good to know that I was mistaken though...

    Thanks for your response though...!
