Thread: Can't login to Samba to add sources

    Default Can't login to Samba to add sources

    I click on my computer(samba) in the add sources section of boxee and it asks me to login. I try to login with my username and password but it just brings me back to the login screen. I've tried changing my sharing options in windows 7 64 but nothing seems to work.
    Does anyone have a solution? I can't seem to find my mkv files otherwise.

    I've uninstalled Windows live 2011 and I can now access my shares through samba including mkv files. I guess it was the culprit after all.

    Also had the same problem, looks like a Windows Live update screwed the pooch.
    I removed all three programmes below (note the install dates = when my problem started). After that my shares worked fine as per before
