    Default Any benefit in installing Boxee software on PC?

    I can get to my files on my Windows 7 x64 computer right out of the box(ee). Is there anything to gain by installing the Boxee software on my PC as far as what my Boxee Box can do?

    I'd like to know this too. I installed it on my PC before I got my box thinking it was needed.

    No, it's not needed, and the two won't interact, as far as I know.
