    How do you access JUST the broswer?? I don't see a facebook app or Twitter of YouTube....???

    You received your Boxee Box a day earlier than expected/planned. You will be receiving a software update by tomorrow sometime. After that, you should be able to access and use the Boxee Browser.

    I actually received a software update once plugged in...still dont see where the browser functionality is???

    Once again, you are not running the version that was meant to be used with the boxee box. You got it a day early, the update you got was from one early version of the boxee box software beta to one new version of the boxee box software beta but still not the version of the software meant for commercial release.

    Also I'm willing to help others who have difficulty with setup...as I did...from streaming from computer HD's...I'm running Server 2008 BTW

    How is this so....?? Why would the box detect something not meant to be for it???

    You received the initial update that's available now but it is NOT the update you will receive tomorrow. You've got version 0.9.something and tomorrow you will get version 1.0.something.

    it IS meant for the box, ffs, LISTEN. The software you are running is the BOXEE BOX BETA SOFTWARE, it was designed for the box during the testing process for the boxee box, the software you are using right now was not meant to be used by anyone except those in the very limited closed beta. The box you have in your possession was not meant to be in your possession till TOMORROW when the BOXEE BOX SOFTWARE V1.0 will be launched which should be problem free, THAT is the software you are meant to be having access to.

    OK...it's not that I don't beleive you...ROFL...HOWEVER...how will I access the browser...regardless of the software released...this too should be accessible no???
    Strange thing is I bought from retail store several hours ago????

    By the way...EVERYTHING running well so far EXCEPT for browser functionality....

    The version of the software you have doesn't have the new Browser App. Once it does, you can start the Browser via the Browser app or by initiating a search (by typing on the remote keybord). And in fact, when you watch online videos, you will be doing so through the Browser.

    Boxee Boxes were sold starting today in Canada -- a day early. Also, a very few Amazon pre-orders arrived today but for the most part, the vast majority of people won't be getting their Boxee Box until tomorrow.
