I know, I was never talking about the Boxee team(read my post), I was more refering to people writing a HTML5 app that allows live streaming of video from a source, which in this case would be a tv tuner backend such as mythbuntu. Sorry if it came across as me meaning the boxee team, but I was more refering to fan made apps which are the majority of apps available for boxee.Originally Posted by judgeschambers

The app section is for folks developing their own apps -- are you saying you're interested in developing a TV Tuner app? If not, then it belongs here in the feature requests, I think... (the app section isn't where the Boxee developers ever discuss much except occassionally to help those developing their apps)

I have asked about apps before in the app section, and as this isnt a feature that is ever going to be added by the boxee team, it would have to be made by developers. I would love to work on an app doing so, but I lack the knowledge both how tv tuner software works, and how live streaming works.
