I remember seeing one or two settings people have mentioned here in the ATV forum to help improve video playback and other performance when running Boxee on the ATV. Of course, I cannot find those threads to save my life...might be nice to have a sticky thread with some tweaks so others that are having specific performance issues that might be addressed with a known tweak can find them easily?

Last night I finally got my new ATV and had Boxee running in 10 or 15 minutes...thanks to all who have contributed to this great project. However, while feeding my newborn son at 5:45 this morning I was unable to get anything to play (as I was last night) audio (network share)/video (network share)/Hulu...the ATV just locked up. I am guessing that it is trying to index my network files as quickly as possible...I have about 300 movies and 50k tracks of music....I am hoping that Boxee/XBMC stores a local index.

Anyway, if there are any tweaks or if anyone can point me in the right direction to learn more about how Boxee indexes files I would appreciate the help.
