I know there are at least three new builds of Boxee (r14004, r14409, and r14503), but they have not been released. Do we know why they haven't or when they will be?

The devs make sub-versions as they fix bugs. Then they compile them into one big release.
What and when the devs deem it time to release a final version? I don't know exactly the criteria, but it does have to be a big enough change/additions before doing so.![]()

In most projects, release cycles are usually gauged by a deadline set at the time of the last release (or earlier) combined with a series of expected feature additions and modifications designated for the next release. Should the deadline be reached without all of the changes being implemented, it's up to the project manager to decide whether to release it or push the deadline back.
For closed-source projects such as Boxee, all of this release information is private unless the company chooses to release it.
