Smile access itunes movies/shows on boxee/ATV

    Hi,
I have the boxee patch on my ATV and all my non-itunes movies are on a time capsule. I want to move my itunes library over to the time capsule so that I can play those movies & show thru boxee as well. Is this possible?

I copied over an itune movie into the directory that is being scanned by boxee, but I am getting a error status 4.

Thanks to anybody who can help!

Boxee cannot play any DRM content, be it songs or movies. So any videos that you have purchased/rented from Apple/iTunes, Amazon, etc will not playback in Boxee.

Also I'm confused by your terms of "non-itunes movies" in the first sentence and mention near the end of "copied over an itune movie".

To clear this up, what file types are these movies?

sorry... what I meant by 'non itunes" movies are dvds that I have copied from my actual dvds and put them on my mac. "itunes movies" are the ones I bought digitally in the itunes store.

What I meant in my previous email is that I went to the Movies FOlder in the Itunes Folder and copied the mp4 file over to the directory that Boxee scans. Boxee can see the file and acts like it is going to play, but then Boxee crashes with an Error 4.

Is there no way to strip the DRM from the movies I bought in the itunes store so that boxee can play them? It's not like I have stolen these movies, I have paid for them.

If not, what's the "cleanest" way to play content from itunes -maybe directly via the ATV? But I guess I would have to sync or stream? A shame since I paid to get the ATV wired to the time capsule.

    thanks!
