    Default Apple TV Update

I noticed today that there was an Apple TV update. I performed it and it wiped Boxee off. Just a little heads up.

I've been watching podcasts this morning on my AppleTV and no update yet.

I think it happened when I restarted the Apple TV. Go to Settings > General > Update Software. Its there...

Or... maybe its a secret update that apple released only for me

This is defiently the biggest problem with the Appletv. The updates kill your hack and updates.

    sudo bash -c 'echo "127.0.0.1 mesu.apple.com" >> /etc/hosts'

I've turned off auto updates, hopefully this update isn't important, just adding some new crap.

    Default Silly rabbit...

Yeah, I just updated my tv to 2.3 before running the patchstick, and now it won't recognize the patchstick. It skips right on to the startup movie. Serves me right for updating before jumping on here.

Once turning off auto updates can you do a manual update? I can't remember what the menu options are, and I'm not sitting in front of my AppleTV.
