What am I doing wrong? I don't have the "CC" icon on the context menu, so I don't have the download subtitles option! And, if I click on "Settings", "Enable subtitles" I get a strange message "Player currently does not support this action" or something and it goes back to disabled again.

Most up to date Windows version.

    Hello,

The integration of OpenSubtitles is great.. and it's a sample on how interconnected media, TV and internet must be..

I would like to know how to make some language to appear on the OpenSubtitles list that pops in Boxee.

There are subtitles in my language (and I have uploaded one for testing) but they never appear on the list...

should be the language activated in any way? is this in Boxee or in Opensubtitles side?

    thanks a lot

I am attaching patch files, and also patched files, so everybody should enjoy this, until it gets to next release (I hope).

In Archive.zip you will find these files:

gui.py and osdb.py - just rewrite with these files original ones, on Mac OSX you can find them @ /Applications/Boxee.app/Contents/Resources/Boxee/scripts/OpenSubtitles/resources/lib

    Hi,
Great news, this is a fantastic feature that was broken.

I never applied patches on my BoxeeBox.

How can I apply this patch on my BoxeeBox?

    10x,

    Trumpy

@bigbartek if you're asking about how to update your BoxeeBox to a Beta firmware then follow the tutorial in following link : http://support.boxee.tv/entries/328816-manual-upgrade . And the public release would be pushed to your box automatically with a pop up for upgrade

Yes you can search subtitles when watching an identified movie if the provider opensubtitles.org has it then BoxeeBox will show it to you, if not then you can always search for it online and put in the same folder as your video and you can use it by pressing globe button on OSD and browse for it on your HDD ..
