I'm using a Macbook Pro (2009 model) sitting next to the TV, Mini-DisplayPort -> HDMI, and an audio cable (so annoyed that the 2010 model supports audio through the DisplayPort).
Controlled through iPhone remote (HippoRemote, Boxee Remote, or Rowmote)
Although screen mirroring works fine, I'd like to be able to turn off the laptop screen.
I have confirmed that my laptop supports Wake-On-Wireless, although in the Power options there is no option to turn this on as seen on many other forums, so I think this is on by default.
Closing the laptop screen (connected to 'external monitor'/TV and power source) puts both displays in Sleep mode, but I can't wake up the 'external display'/TV with any of the remote apps..
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I do have Sleepless so I can force the mac to stay awake when the lid is closed, but this isn't the ideal solution..
