Full Screen loads black while window mode works

Well basicly when i load up boxee on my laptop it goes full screen but there is a black screen after pressing Windows Key + Tab to get a picture preview i see there is 1 black screen and 1 boxee screen [screen shot 1]
i can move between stuff using my arrow keys but the screen is still black,

once i go to window mode, the 2nd boxee process open in the taskbar is removed and boxee runs normaly, but when i go full screen it gets that black screen again.

aperantly the software is running but just behing a black screen.

As you can see in the first screen boxee does load but i cant ALT+TAB to it, it just gets the black screen to the front

I had the same problem which I fixed by deleting the guisettings.xml file.
