Netflix shows duplicates

I have had an issue with Boxee's Netflix app showing multiple entries for the same movie/show when browsing through genres. Is this a known issue, or am I doing something wrong.

I have tried multiple boxes and multiple installations of Boxee.

Currently using a fresh install of Windows 7 x64 and latest Boxee release downloaded today.

Well, somewhat known. It was recently reported here http://jira.boxee.tv/browse/APP-294 but was closed with direction to update http://jira.boxee.tv/browse/APP-232 instead; unfortunately, #232 has been removed from the tracking system, I have no idea why

I've submitted a comment for #294 asking what would be best to re-open the issue; I'll give it a day and if I don't hear anything, I'll open a new one

Awesome...thanks. Looking over those work requests, it would seem that the dev group hasn't been able to reproduce this issue. I have not been able to use any release I've downloaded WITHOUT having this issue. lol

For what it's worth the original issue has been reopened: http://jira.boxee.tv/browse/APP-232 and duplicate reports of the same issue close. Watch and vote for #232!

It''s a shame that this doesn't work properly. The rest of the Boxee app is wonderful, but the amount of Netflix streaming I do makes this issue a dealbreaker.

I must be missing something. How do duplicate entries prevent you from watching Netflix items? Missing items I understand; duplicates not so much

Out of a list of 100+ titles in any of the lists of available titles in Netflix, I may be able to see 20...the rest are duplicates of that 20. It makes it frustrating to scan for something you wouldn't think to search for to watch. I'll admit that it doesn't stop me from watching stuff, just that it tends to keep me from watching Netflix through Boxee. My statement was that with the amount of Netflix viewing that I do, that it's kind of a deal-breaker for watching Netflix in Boxee.

Is there some sort of cached view that can be deleted/recreated/refreshed? It would seem that it could be something as simple as that, except that it's happening to me on a fresh PC build/fresh Boxee install. Could it be Boxee account related?

Unfortunately I don't know the source of the problem. At a guess, it's within the app itself and needs to be fixed by the developers.

Hi

I have searched the forums and have only seen 1 other post about duplicate titles. I also see that it was closed on the bug tracker. Is no one else having this problem.

Also is there a way when starting a Netflix show to have it ask to restart or continue.
