Spotify integration/app

Any news here? A Spotify app for Boxee is the last application I need to completely cover all my needs with the upcoming Boxee Box (already ordered).

Spotify is one of the most used and known services for msuic streaming. It's integrated in many devices like Sonos and many more.
I do hope that Boxee or some smart developers address this soon.

OK - I will donate 50€ to the first developer to get a working spotify app (ability to search & play music from the db, play my favorites/starred tracks, play what's new & top lists) - whether or not you need a subscription is up to the developer.

I expect to see some other people in this thread chip in as well! :-)

OK, I will donate 50 EUR also if that's what it takes. Now if we can get 10+ more users to donate then there's motivation for developers.

Thanks nooryani - I think we need to do something because the request for an app has been out there for a long while already (and rightfully so :-)) and nothing has happened...

Been looking around on the internet and searching your forums. I can see that this dicussionen has been up several times before, but quite some time ago. Therefor, only cause this would be the absolute perfection of an otherwise awesome program which i love! (BOXEE ROCKS GUYS!) i wanna bring this up again.

PLEASE add support for spotify on boxee. The best music program ever created. I realize that a lot of countries still can't use this program due to copyright bullshit etc etc but i just read about spotify trying to reach some sort of agreement with the record companies in the states to make it availabe for u guys aswell. Here in sweden, uk, netherlands, france etc it's a big deal which im more than happy to pay for every month.

Please support this thread with comments. If you want to add some other mediocre program you can start your own thread. Soz for my english

I totally agree! Its hard to believe that with all the smart programmers out there that I still havent found a working spotify app foor boxee. I've seen that there is one for xbmc, so it should be feasable?

Anyone?
