    Default editing meta info and transporting meta info

    so boxee has gone through my collection of movies and tv shows and successfully found some of the right meta info. but there is still some wrong. enough to be a pain to correct it with a remote

    is there an easier way to edit the info rather than through the menus with the remote?

    a desktop app? anything? is there a certain naming scheme i should be using to help it?

    also, I have it on a appletv right now, but i know eventually I will be using it on an old macbook once I get a new macbook in a few months. is there a way to transfer or export all that meta data it collected already to the eventual installation of boxee on the macbook? it will be all the same content, filename's and location because i will be using the same external hard drive.

    thanks

    Question indexing and metadata

    [QUOTE=agentlame;11573]faq on naming scheme:
    http://forum.boxee.tv/showthread.php?t=1147

    Apart of using those convenient file names, and once the moveies are indexed correctly, can boxee organize, search and manage movies by director, genre, released date, etc.?

    Does it make any difference if I have all the movies organized in folders by genre or boxee doesn't care how is it organized and it just looks for any media file and drops it inside movies?
