Getting the same problem as the last poster. Seems Apple have changed the location of the dmg file.

Seems that most of the old dmg files no longer work. Found a solution at the following page, I just opted to download the provided bat file.

Default ATV GUI and Windows 7

    StealthRT,

My ATV and boxee crashed the other day so I need to do a reinstall so thought I'd try your amazing GUI. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit.

When I click on "Click here to choose your USB drive", I get a one line white drop down below the button with no text in it. I tried the USB stick in a few sockets and it's always the same. Windows 7 itself works fine with the USB Stick (a Sandisk 2GB formatted for 256MB). When I put the stick in the socket, the usual Open Files dialog appears where I can see or delete files on the stick.

Any help much appreciated. Otherwise I'll have to go through the pain of re-learning how I did it all last time!

    Regards,
    John.

    To all:

It seems that davilla made his own version for windows so go ahead and use that instead of mine.

Thanks to those who used my program and enjoyed it

    Default help

    Hi

    ALL SORTED - PEBCAK ISSUE

First off thanks for all the great work on this.

I'm running 3.0.1 and have downloaded the image from http://code.google.com/p/atvusb-creator/ and successfully put it on my usb drive.

I've plugged it into my atv, got the friendly penguin and ssh login etc. I've unplugged and removed the usb before replugging my atv in and booting up BUT it only loads the normal interface with no links to boxee etc.

Am I missing something (not the first time) or do I need to do something else as well?

I see from page 14 of the posts (The Birdman) that the same thing happened to him but I couldn't see a reply.

Please help, I got an ATV especially so I could run boxee

What OS did you create the patchstick with? Windows or Mac? Also, not all USB sticks work. Search around and there is a list of known good USB sticks. 4 4G Kingston doesn't work, but some old crappy 512MB one works fine.

You both should be looking for "Launcher" on your ATV Menus. Once you see that, you know you have the Launcher installed. If you have the Launcher installed, you can run Boxee. You can choose to download the Alpha from the Launcher Menu or you can install the Beta using the instructions on the OP in this thread: http://forum.boxee.tv/showthread.php?t=14664
    Running Latest on:
    Acer Aspire Revo 3770 (Win7 SP1 Home Prem)/46" Sharp Aquos 1080p/ Sony 7.1 STR-DG800
    MacBook Pro 10.7 (Lion) Core2Duo 2.2G/4GB/17"WS/Nvidia8600M
    Linux Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) P4 3.4G/2GB/22"WS Gateway/Nvidia7600GT
    i7 920/6GB/23"WS LED Samsung/Win7 Pro 64/XFX Radeon 5770
    Streaming (SMB) from:
    unRAID NAS Server Intel i3/4GB/Intel PRO/1000 PM 11TB Disk (8TB Data/1TB Cache/2TB Parity)
