Hi I really love the app section of Boxee and I'm wondering if there is a way to launch apps directly from the Windows desktop, or have the App section be the first thing I see when I start Boxee.

Not easily. You could possible dig through boxees xml files and put some kind of onload function to load the app page...

I am looking into a way to do this too.

Basically need the location of where to point a shortcut or batch file to launch a Boxee App (i.e. Pandora) directly; without opening Boxee and navigating to the said app. I do not really want to get into why I would like this functionality, because do not feel like justifying to a whole forum of people of why I might need this, but I have very good reasons for doing so. I just need something like a shortcut or batch file on my desktop to Boxee Apps and clicking on that will launch the Boxee Apps. It was mentioned this would not be easy, but I have tinkered with Boxee a couple years now, so I am not easily discouraged. Any suggestions would be great. To behonest, I am not even sure of where start looking to figure this out, so hoping someone might have an idea.

I ONLY use the APP section as I use XBMC for the rest of my system and would love to just go to the APP section on load.
