Manually install flash - Cyberduck
I was starting to get close to that point where I had to re-patch the whole atv because I couldn't get flash to work again.
Then, I followed the point "3-You can also manually install the flash player.plugin and flash player.xpt into ~/frontrow/Library/internet plug-ins using winscp/ Fugu/ Cyberduck" - - - - It could not be simpler. To all ya who are having issues with flash installation, all u have to do is to download flash on the mac (as if you are installing it locally) mount the install file and control+click the contents the choose "show package contents" and tadaaa! the files flash player.plugin and flash player.xpt are archived for your own convenience. Step two is to access your ATV via cyberduck, by now it should be connecting already using bonjour, piece of cake, browse to : /Users/frontrow/Library/Internet plugins and copy the files mentioned above to that folder. Restart ATV and it should be up and running.
Thank again to Nuggyblake and to the awesome JimWiley who created two scripts from which one gets the Flash Installer on the Menu, however for some reason it was not working for me.

1. How did you patch your atv ? If you used atvflash, you need to contact them. You cant install flash onto your atv without CoreAudioKit.framework.

2. If you installed using the latest atvusb-creator, you can install flash 10 from Launcher>downloads
3. You can also manually install the flash player.plugin and flash player.xpt into ~/frontrow/Library/internet plug-ins using winscp/ Fugu/ Cyberduck
(there is a symlink in Library/Internet Plug-ins so you dont need to worry about that).
4. Dependant upon version you want to install, you can ssh and install flash manually;
