Shows like The Daily Show and the Colbert Report have issues in the latest release. They start with multiple audio tracks on top of each other, creating a distorted echo effect, and they keep starting the shows in the middle of the feed instead of at the beginning. The ads at the beginning don't have this problem, only the shows themselves. It's happened on multiple computers, in Linux and in Windows. Any help?

Not sure if there's any corelation - but the 'paid for' Basic version of PlayOn announced that the Comedy Central content will be pushed over to the Premium version of PlayOn in the near future and for a few weeks the 'Basic' subscribers can preview CC content for free - possibly it's been 'scrambled' in some way on Boxee and other providers

I doubt that. PlayOn is basically just a Boxee competitor, it isn't the content provider. What it decides to push to its 'premium' service is only relevant to PlayOn users. Besides, Boxee just grabs the flash frame out of a web page for its CC content, and CC still works just fine in an actual browser.

update -- The problem with starting in the middle of the feed occurs on the website too, you have to rewind the player back to the beginning and watch another commercial, then it starts fine. Probably a flash player issue.

This actually isn't a boxee problem, it's a problem with the CC player and the flash 10.1.? beta. I've witnessed this happening while using the CC website directly in firefox. Appears to only happen on clips/episodes that start out with a commercial.

I have the same problem with boxee under mac os 10.6.4. I think this is flash or flash player bug. I can reproduce it using Safari on a different machine running 10.6.4 as well.
