Tried it this afternoon. It hung up my boxee after a few mins the first time.
It worked great afterward.
Thanks for porting it. I am still exploring it...

Hey Team Boxee,
Thanks again for not booting me from your forums for talking sooo much. I know I been talking a lot, but there is so much to talk about that I'm just trying to keep my words at a minimum from not filling your forums with bologna, lol!
With that said, here is tutorial one for new users. We will eventually turn this text into an awesome Howcast video for Boxee users, but for now I know many of you are anxious to get started... with this in mind, I now present our tutorial on how to use the Navi-Xtreme Media Portal for adding links to content on the internet for playback in Boxee!!!
Navi-Xtreme Media Portal Tutorial
Navi-Xtreme is the official Navi-X website for our playlist management system. You can go to the website, create a free playlist hosting account and add links to content from websites on the internet that we have created a processor for. You can also directly link to content directly on the internet, with a file extension on the end of the link. (example: .avi, .mkv, .flv)
So, if you wanted to add a link into Navi-X to watch a movie for example, here is how you do this.
1. Go to http://navix.turner3d.net
2. Create a new account on the bottom-left of the site menu.
3. Confirm your account by logging into your email address and clicking confirm.
4. Login to your free playlist hosting account at http://navix.turner3d.net
5. Click on "My Playlists".
6. Click "Create New Playlist".
7. Fill out the entries for the playlist, including title, description,
background, logo, playlist icon, player and visibility. (ONLY a Name is required!)
8. Below, click "Add New Entry" to add an item to your playlist.
9. Fill out the item entry with AT LEAST Name and URL. The rest is optional.
At this point, I normally check out tvshack.net and paste in a MovShare
or MegaVideo URL, from a popular movie I want to watch.
10. Click Save.
11. Now you can browse to your playlist in Navi-Xtreme via the Navi-X Plugin on Boxee. To do so, one way would be to click on "My Playlists" under Navi-Xtreme, then click on the name of the playlist you just made, then click on the media item to play it back.
In Boxee, you also have the ability to "Share" this item via Boxee with social networks and people who join your feed. If the internet contains a video link, you can link to it right now via social networks, regardless of what it is if we have a processor for it on Navi-Xtreme... thats all you really need to know. Instead of playing it back via browser, it streams the media file only directly into the Boxee player.
In short, Boxee users can now build a public community of custom content inside of Navi-X, without obscurity or boundaries for everyone to share and see! This is just the tip of the iceberg, but as you can see, there are an endless amount of questions that can and will arise from these new capabilities...
If you all would do me a favor and search the Navi-Xtreme forums for the answer first, you would really save me a lot of time from repeating myself, as we may have already discussed it there in great detail... http://navix.turner3d.net/forums
I hope you all enjoy the Navi-X plugin and I will give you another tutorial real soon!
P.S. For those who kept up with this tutorial... technically, if you wanted to... you could create your own .plx files manually and fully customize your playlists, as well as not have to necessarily use the automated system... hosting playlist files that link internally... this is how Navi-X Networks works as well, as it is editted all in notepad like other playlists! The flexibility of Navi-X is near endless... more to come!

Great job guys !
I have A 10mbs connection connecting at 8-9mbs and am having buffering issues also. I have, although, only tried 1 movie, Tooth Fairy.
Boxee Box
Quick observation: I created a test playlist with a HD trailer, but boxee plays it back with the resolution of 416X160 not 720P. I love the fact that all of this content is available, but is there a way to get it in HD? I also tested the same file in XBMC and it's the same thing - no HD. Is this an issue with the site, or Navi in general? Thank you for your time in the forums Bill
EDIT: Tested a file on another site, and the full resolution appeared. Now I need to test a HD file
P.S. I love this plugin, it works much better on Boxee vs. XBMC too - thank you for the site, and to the plugin author!

Remember... the newer the movie (on the weekend in particular!) the more likely it will have buffering issues due to too many users accessing the file on the video host.
Check previous post for a more thorough explanation please.
As for HD content, but not much and it's hard to find... I been busy painting my house for a minute, but I'll give you some examples later when I'm not so pooped. Some of the trailers in Apple Movie Trailers are HD I believe. Will check later... soo sleepy!

@Ironbill
Just a few questions:
1. I have seen the playlists (including yours), but I can play only a few (and cannot play yours). If I click on the playlist it gives me only its description
2. How do I share what I have watched? I watched an episode of still standing by searching for it in the list of Guba content. I wanted to share it but I did not find out how.
3. Does the plugin overcome the megavideo 72mins limit?
Cheers,
S.
P.s. Strike out #1, I have found the way. Sorry!!

It should be pretty easy to enable going back with the escape/backspace button using
PushState http://developer.boxee.tv/Window_Class#PushState on your onclicks and PopState on your backbuttons. These probably could have saved you some time instead of doing everything manually.

Yeah... I wasn't aware of those functions until recently and haven't tried it yet. Does the state include every object created or just the classes from the mc module? Right now every important information in the app is in a CPlaylist object (Navi-X class). The ListItems are only used for display and a final ListItem is created after some processing to use with the Player.
