I seen this when it was posted.. does this mean that my "playback error either the format is not supported of the file is corrupted" error will most likely stay for awhile? Jus wondering because I only have 30 days to return boxee and got it mostly for this use and currently I can only play maybe 1 out of every 20 links i click

exact error I get is "playback error either the format is not supported of the file is corrupted"

i change the ip to the google 8.8.4.4 no luck :-(

Sometimes I get the error message too. I try clicking on them couple of time n they open. If you are in doubt try navi-x in xbmc on PC. If it works better u might consider getting an apple tv 2 n jailbreaking it. That way u can use xmbc on it. Keep in mind it's gonna b 720p only. I have an 47inch LED and 130 inch projector screen with 1080p projector. I see the difference in 720p and 1080p very clearly on both of them. It's not huge but still significant difference.
Apart from boxee n atv2 there r not many devices that can play navix flawlessly unless u have PC or or a server.

keep in mind ATV2 is not $100 anymore and you can't buy it from apple store.

I actually do own a A.T.2. but I could never get the jailbreak to work.. I've j.b. every phone i've ever owned ect but this problem lol! I got the boxee becuz i was excited about streaming movies online without the hassle grrr... plus i can have 1 in each room... what to do grrrr

- Go to main Navi-X portal page > user list > Boseman * [90% of add-ons on Navi-X are on his playlist, like: 1Channel]
- Go to main Navi-X portal page > user list > Whufclee * [scrapers]
- Go to main Navi-X portal page > user list > Justme4u2c * [Movie2k - HBO]
- Go to main Navi-X portal page > user list > Tikktiew * [Live TV]

I've had a lot of these "file format or corruption" messages coming up lately and this was rare earlier. Also, I'll be into the movie and it drops back to the menu selection of movies all of the sudden and sometimes it looks like the Box resets of something as I see the screen with the Boxee logo come up like at boot. Don't see this with other apps I'm using and not using too many. Hope you can get it worked out. Got to be a lot of work and responsibility to handle this.
